so the 300,000 - 350,000€ are only due if he hires companies to build the whole thing.
If he raises the shell construction with his own labor, which is possible as a bricklayer, he gets off much cheaper.
A friend of mine did it that way (also a bricklayer)... alongside work and on weekends (construction time 3/4 year). He also bought an excavator beforehand and built the shell completely... including drywall and plastering inside/outside... I think you can definitely save a lot that way. The hourly wage is simply the most expensive part...
