Wow, holy moly. THAT is really a challenge. First of all: Do other apartments in the building have the same bathroom layout? Maybe you can get some ideas from the neighbors in that case?

Can pipes be relocated? Is it possibly an option to make the window smaller? Probably not, right? Is opening the door outwards possible?

Strange! Somehow I always thought the door was at the top of the plan, the window at the bottom of the plan. Therefore I hereby retract my previous answers!

How on earth do you use the toilet?

It only works from the side. Or standing up :-P Honestly, this is quite a situation... Is that the only bathroom??? Does everything really have to be squeezed in there? Then just leave it as it is. It can only get worse, it seems... At least this way you know what to expect ;-)

The washing machine would move to the other side, next to it up to the window a shower. Directly at the window, I would place a glass shower wall inside, if the window cannot be reduced. For the toilet, choose a space-saving one that does not protrude into the room more than necessary. Next to the toilet, there would still be room for a shallow cabinet.

That's exactly how I just thought about it (or rotate the toilet as it currently is), but then the window would definitely have to be changed, otherwise, it can't really be opened.

With a 60 cm passage at the narrowest point, you could even do it like that. At first, I thought it would be too tight...
