Raise the planned click vinyl flooring or increase the screed?

Hello everyone,
during today’s site inspection, it was noticed that the screed turned out surprisingly low. There is about 1.5 cm of space between the screed and the door frames. The same applies at the transition from the screed to the metal stair edge (where the stairs begin and the floor, as usual, forms the first step).

The tile and vinyl installer advised me to use an 8mm underlay for the 5mm click vinyl. The 13mm total floor buildup would then be optimal. We immediately discarded the original plan to have him glue down 2.5mm vinyl.

Actually, I wanted to lay a 1mm underlay under the 5mm planks on the other floors. Now I have concerns that a thicker underlay could negatively affect the stability of the click connections.

Another option would be to complain to the developer about the screed buildup and request height compensation using leveling compound.
Third option: 1mm underlay, 5mm vinyl, and adjusting the door frames with silicone. However, this would result in unsightly gaps between the door leaf and the floor covering.

Gerflor Insight Clic 55 vinyl is to be installed as a floating floor. Underneath, I plan to use the Gerflor Acoustic underlay.

It concerns 50m² of contiguous area.

Which options do you find reasonable and feasible?

Best regards
Ricardo

Hello Alex,
we were not able to determine the height exactly today, as there was no suitable tool available on short notice.
However, there were three plastic blocks wedged under the door frame in the living room, each about 4-5 mm thick.

At the builder, - 5 mm was ordered.

I would definitely not choose click vinyl. Gluing is preferable, especially if you have underfloor heating. Better to have the screed height evened out.

I will also glue vinyl, but I think it is always an exaggeration to say that it doesn't work with underfloor heating, I don't think you notice it at all in everyday life.

On the screed, there will be an additional 1 to 2.5 mm of leveling compound. Then the vinyl with about 2.5 mm. Where are you then? It is also stupid to install the door frames before the screed. Why does he do that? Karsten
