That's correct. However, it is not yet fully installed. It will take about two more weeks until the installation is complete.

Hello BeHaEIJa,

Yes, such a thing exists...! The system has been on the market for decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery since around January 2015 and achieves about 37 m³ at the lowest setting with just a whisper-quiet 18 dB. I have attached the performance data, although these still need to be verified by an institute. The system currently does not have Dibt approval and is therefore not yet available for KfW. However, the system is already excellently suited for basement ventilation and commercial areas. I have also successfully used it in residential construction.

But in general, air exchange rates of 0.3 are more than sufficient to continuously ensure fresh air and a good room climate.

Theoretically, the iV14 from inventer, for example, handles about 13 m³ at the lowest setting. At full load, the system then (assuming paired operation) manages about 29 m³. However, you can then hear significant noise which can be disturbing when falling asleep. To be able to fall asleep peacefully, it is now possible with every decentralized ventilation system to switch off the ventilation in this room for time x using additional components and guarantee that it restarts automatically.

But some questions:

1. Did no one specifically create a ventilation concept when planning the single-family house? Normally, the planner, architect, or other suitable persons are responsible for planning a ventilation concept. You can’t just send the builder off and say, "Well, just choose a system!"

2. Has the natural infiltration been calculated? Might this already be sufficient to ensure moisture protection in the building? (When creating a ventilation concept, at minimum, moisture protection must be ensured. I have attached such a calculation. This is how it might look.)

If you have questions, feel free to send me a private message

We already had the system in a thread, it has been available for a long time also with [Dibt] approval. However, it is true that the new system (I already saw it at the trade fair) does not have approval yet... I think it will get it this year.
