Hello,

how high is it allowed to build the knee wall if nothing is specified?
It is a semi-detached house. The other side is already built.
The roof pitch should be 40°.
I know that the existing house is 12m deep.

It is about the yellow marked part.

Do you see how wide / long the building envelope is? To be honest, I don’t see any dimensions.

Thanks for your help.

best regards

As high as necessary to achieve the mandatory two-story structure. So if you plan two above-ground floors plus an attic, the attic must not become a full story. For semi-detached houses, however, there is usually an obligation to adapt, especially concerning the eaves and ridge height. It is best to discuss the matter with the competent people in your municipality. Dimensions are not necessarily required, as the development plan is to scale and measurements can be taken graphically. Usually, the taken measurements are rounded to half a meter. Here too, talking to the municipality helps, where the development plan must be kept available for public inspection at all times.

You can probably measure it from the development plan

How do you know that? What needs to be adapted? I did not understand that. That's right. Of course, it depends on in what form you have the development plan. If you only have a screenshot, printing it to scale probably won't work. You also have to be careful with PDF files not to select any page scaling. If you have a printout from the office, I hope it is not distorted. Based on the stipulations, I guess it's at a scale of 1:1000, so your building envelope is probably 10m*12m in size. But as I said: best to go there and have it explained.
