So for our services according to construction and performance description, the additional cost is roughly €3,000... That’s definitely a rough estimate, so I know what to expect. Does that include all the walls and ceilings for 140m²?

No, actually not. Just Google the terms. Q2 and Q3 are actually quality grades for plaster. So how smooth your wall becomes. The higher the number, the smoother. I think it also has something to do with the composition of the plaster, meaning how coarse the material is, but that is beyond my knowledge. We left the spackled Q2 on the ceiling, my painter sanded it down a bit and primed it, and then we had a fleece wallpaper glued over it that itself has a very fine plaster texture, then painted white. From a distance (ceiling height, you can't stand right in front of it), it looks very smooth and even. But we are not the household with 20 different indirect light sources in the living room, meaning we do not place great value on such things. You need to be clear about what your own standards are. You get a lot of tips here from people in the forum who have completely different demands for their living space. Basically, it’s up to you whether you spend 3,000 or 30,000 € on your walls, but the results will differ accordingly. In the end, it’s a matter of taste.

Oh yes, today we received our first ceiling spots, so I have a current photo of what our ceiling looks like with the fleece fiber and white paint. Below is a primed and filled concrete ceiling.

I'll join in: the drywall installer (also does the painting work) offers us Q3 for an additional charge of 9 euros gross per sqm. In total, just under 6,000 euros for (suspended) ceiling and walls.

Now facing the same question: can't assess whether it's worth it...

Fleece should definitely be applied. Now I’m reading here about "Maler-" and "Spachtelvlies." What is the difference?

In contrast to the painter's fleece, which is wallpapered onto the wall like wallpaper with paste, the filler fleece is embedded into the top layer of filler and is thus an integral part of the wall.

Thank you for the explanation. I now understand the technical difference. How is this to be assessed in terms of quality? It was said here that filling fleece is better, but why?
