Previous ownership through inheritance share - KfW300

Hello everyone,

we are currently planning our house construction and would of course also like to benefit from the favorable interest conditions of the KfW.
Only KfW 300 (homeownership for families) is really worthwhile.
However, we now have the problem that there is already prior ownership due to an inheritance. This concerns 12.5% of the parental home, which my mother-in-law still lives in.
Does anyone have experience with this and can say if there is a way to still access the funding program (without giving up the inheritance or something similar)?
Other funding programs (L-Bank) unfortunately do not work for us for several reasons.

The rules are clear, at the time of application you must not own any property. Either sell the share or forgo the funding.

Be happy to have inherited something. Not everyone enjoys this privilege.

Sell a share. Nothing more and nothing less. The KfW is very strict about that:

That is not correct. 12.5% is not ownership that is currently or in the foreseeable future usable. Otherwise, one would also have to exclude all potential heirs.

Owner according to the land register: the OP (with a 12.5% share) – ownership exists, whether full ownership or not, does not matter to the KfW.
