KFW 70 or is KWF 40 Plus worthwhile with significant additional costs?

I would stay away from Heinz von Heiden. My in-laws built with them. There was shoddy work everywhere. Even I can notice that as a layman.

Otherwise, it was a complete disaster.
What would a Viebrockhaus cost in KfW 70?

In my opinion, KFW 40+ is not worth it... you pay a lot more which does not pay off... unless you are already considering selling the house again after 15 years. then you can think about it. Otherwise, a KFW 40+ house easily costs 100k more than one according to the Energy Saving Ordinance. The heat pumps, batteries, etc. also need maintenance. and if they break after 10 years (end of warranty), you are stuck. what I think pays off best is KFW55, you also take the bank loans with it and still get 5000 euros refunded.

Yes, that's how it was with us, house planned with KFW 55. Then got a great interest rate from the bank for the financing, so it was not worthwhile with the KfW financing.

I think so too. Viebrockhaus does everything from a single source. Heinz von Heiden only works with subcontractors. You definitely have a better feeling with Viebrockhaus.

No, Viebrockhaus works with subs just as much and squeezes them just like other companies. What Viebrockhaus charges more than other houses at the same standard doesn't go to the subs. Marketing, show home parks and advertising need to be paid for.

Even if Viebrockhaus now offered 70 for the extra cost, I would choose Viebrockhaus: better construction specifications, very clearly. Better basic standard. And if you want to sell later anyway, I would actually favor these 40+: Viebrockhaus and 40+ can certainly be resold better later than Heinz von Heiden.
