Poroton S9 or T9 experiences

Well then, let's bring it back to life.

I’m also interested in the topic.

With our general contractor (GU) we get a T9 block as standard, unfilled. Recently we visited our new neighbors, who received the same block from the same GU, and were surprised how noisy the house was. You could hear the cars in the stairwell from outside. It should be noted that the roof insulation from the inside was not yet fully applied and the block was mortared rather than glued. There were large mortar joints everywhere.
Since then, we have considered offering the T9 with perlite filling. Hence the question here.
However, our GU does not want to install it, allegedly due to bad experience with processing. The filling could crumble out, more effort, etc. So he did offer it, but I guess with a hefty "fear premium." They want €7,750 for our house with just under 200 m² of heated living space, 2 full floors. As I said, that seems extremely high to me.
Are there any assessments / experiences here?
Now we are pondering and considering whether for €8,250 we should instead go for KfW55. Then we would get significantly more out of it, better insulation, etc., and a T8 block instead of the T9, although unfilled and probably carrying the same properties (crumbly, poor sound insulation). And yes, T8 is sufficient, the energy consultant has calculated it. Although the difference between T8 and T9 is probably minimal; whatever you save there you pay for with even worse soundproofing and thinner webs = crumbly.
We live near a street, so we would have liked to do something here. But for the money, it really isn’t worth it. Especially since I don’t know if the promise of minus 3 dB with perlite blocks will really be kept. 3 dB sounds little but is 100% less sound at the same frequency.
How do you see it?

You will always be annoyed if you do not take the filled stones and hear a car in your house.

You can inquire about the costs to see what the price difference is.

Are there only stones filled with perlite available at your place or also ones with stone wool? Maybe it would also be worth considering taking thicker stones, for example 42.5 instead of 36.5.

I'm right there too, with those using mineral wool. But I assume they aren't much cheaper. And €7000 is really too much for me, especially since there's not even a better thermal insulation value. I found another solution. I compared 3 brick manufacturers and found that one T9 brick has a significantly better raw density and compressive strength than the others. It is 2 strength classes better. With the same U-value. The better the raw density and compressive strength, the better the sound insulation value. So we're simply optimizing in that direction now, that we want this brick (ThermoPlan S9). It doesn't cost us an extra €. It might not bring as much as perlite-filled, but it also costs nothing and should be a good compromise.

Wrong. It is 50% less – or 100% more, if you start from the quieter point and also if by "sound" "sound intensity" is meant.

Compressive strength doesn't matter - it only roughly correlates with bulk density. Sound is best absorbed by a lot of mass. High bulk density ==> high mass ==> good sound absorber
