Hello, in our new building a PLUGGIT with heat recovery is planned. In the construction description it states up to 170sqm living space. By chance, we have exactly 170sqm. On the Pluggit homepage I find the following devices that would be suitable. AP190 (for about 140sqm), AP310 (for about 260sqm), AP460 (for about 400sqm)!

Can someone tell me which system will probably be installed up to 170sqm? The 190 seems too small, the 310 rather oversized? The price is supposed to be around €9200.

Which one from Pluggit was installed in your case?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
which system is installed there can probably only be told to you by the supplier. Just ask.

The design of the systems is always a bit tricky. First of all, not the living area but the area to be ventilated is important. And from 170 sqm of living space with basement, it can quickly become 260 sqm.
Then the volume to be ventilated and the necessary volume flow are determined.
Important, systems should not run at their absolute limit, the delivery rates of the fans drop significantly in the upper performance range. In other words, an AP190 can deliver a maximum volume flow of XXX (probably 190) m^3/h, but it runs at the highest setting, loud and uneconomical. The volume flow diagrams I have seen so far all drop steeply at about 70-80% of the maximum volume flow.
So if you need e.g. 250 m^3/h, your system should be able to deliver around 300.

Best regards,

Andreas

Hi,

we have the Avent P310 for 135 sqm. The 190 model would *theoretically* have worked too, but as correctly mentioned here, it would have operated in an unfavorable load range.

Presumably, the P310 will also be sufficient for you. The volume flows are adjusted per room during commissioning, based on the calculation by the expert.

Therefore, in my perception, a certain oversizing of the system is not a problem.

Best regards Thorsten

How is that actually done? Are there dampers installed?
