Flat roof vs. Modern Barn was of course meant as "or". I also find split level interesting. Roof shape is more of a priority 2, I also like a shed roof, for example – just no dormers, bay windows or anything like that. I will probably just tell the architect which architectural directions we like (Neue Sachlichkeit, Bauhaus, Neues Bauen, International Style), and the roof shape can then develop.

The 200m² are of course not set in stone. With a clever floor plan, a bit less space might also work. But: we currently have 110m² condominium and that doesn't include the staircase, technical room, or basement. In the end, it should definitely be somewhat larger. We certainly don't want a "Hobbithaus" ;-)

200m2 for two people is okay. Of course, it can be smaller, but if you like to have space, why not. We are also just two and have more than 200m2.

has well under 200 sqm and it is very spacious. However, fewer rooms.

Be sure to include in your room program the points that currently bother you. For example, the distance between wall and bed is too small. Then specify a minimum distance there.

Size, fine and dandy. With a 330sqm plot, one should consider that when looking out the window, you might quickly end up just looking into the neighbor’s garden instead of enjoying your own property.

I would like to subtly question whether it is necessary to demonstrate on Dorfstraße in Knieritz at the Knatter what is taught as Dernier Cri at ETH Zurich. Avant-garde only "belongs" to the province to a limited extent. 200 sqm result, however, is something different from 200 sqm "approximate target specification."

Even in a [Kuhkaff] an unusual house is allowed. Avant-garde is not only for metropolises.
