I always struggle a bit with this: a) bring a as concrete an idea as possible or b) "Hello architect, here is the plot, a house for 2, please go ahead, then we'll talk :-)" I now hear that there are some arguments for "b" :-)

Clearly B. The individualization comes later. As a layperson, you simply don't have the perspective, training, or experience to model something great and practical on a slope.

Are you sure you know what a building line is? Anyway, the architect will be able to read your plan.

I am even quite sure about the building line. I have already spoken to the building authority and that was one of my questions... the answer was clear: "The house must be built directly on the street." As already mentioned: all houses in the village area are also built on the street (with minimal deviations). However, I would of course leave any discussion about possible deviations to the architect :-)

If you do a, you get a. Because then it will only be tried to implement what you imagine, without really thinking about whether it makes sense or not. Unfortunately, I also speak from experience here. If you go to the architect, then definitely do b and then see what might not suit you or would need to be adjusted. If it doesn’t fit at all, you can still reveal your concrete ideas later.

Let the architects work. Even if you talk to GUs. Only provide key points. Our house has nothing left from my first hand drawing except the location. Not even the number of rooms has remained.
