I find it, for example, quite strange to calculate the performance of the scaffold twice – is the scaffolder supposed to dismantle after the roof frame is completed, only to erect it again for the exterior plastering?
Rhenish greetings
Hello Bauexperte.
We will do it like this / are currently doing it like this.
The scaffolding for the work on the roof cost €3600 (with net / fall protection and double layer on top) and it even has only 2 levels (so it would not have been suitable for the plasterer), otherwise it would have been even more expensive. Also, in the comparison of offers, an extended standing time per week cost between €170 and €250. If the thing now stands for 3 months or longer beyond its own "trade standing time," that is up to €1000 loss per month.
On Monday this scaffold can go away.
We will plaster at the earliest at the end of November (and if the weather does not allow it anymore this year, probably starting from March), the plasterer will then come again with his own scaffold. Costs: €1450.
That is definitely cheaper than having one standing all the time.
Our architect also estimated from the beginning with 2 scaffolds. In his experience that is cheaper. If it had been foreseeable otherwise or one scaffold had been cheaper, we would have done it as well.
Does not have to be a bad thing.
