Hold a really strong lamp at an angle against an interior wall in the dark. As a rule, the interior plaster won't look "perfect" anymore, unless you have ordered Q3 or higher and paid accordingly. But it doesn't bother anyone in everyday life... as the door specialist said, "You’re not pressing your ear against the wall all day..."

Short technical question

Should I already lay the power cables for the wall lighting in grooves in the exterior wall or simply on the EIFS once it is installed?

We want to completely do without effect lighting. We want brightness where necessary, even if we go to the trash bin or to the garden shed or compost bin in winter.

But there is a difference between brightness to take out the trash or still find the door after the pub and brightness to deter a burglar who is just about to break down your door with a drill because he suspects diamonds inside... otherwise he wouldn’t bother, he can get the TV more easily from the neighbor without security windows.

So if you don’t want to take out your trash with welder’s glasses despite the darkness, you will have to use 2 systems or go for dimmable LEDs. Normal brightness for the trash bin, floodlight for the break-in.

Of course, a distinction must be made here again... if the mail carrier almost goes blind at 7:00 a.m. in winter because your system thinks he’s a bad guy and switches to "UV Grill level Extra," he will probably start throwing your letters into the garden from then on but won’t come close to your property anymore.

Motion sensors must also be set so that a pedestrian on the sidewalk or the neighbor’s cat doesn’t constantly trigger the floodlight and native birds get confused in winter and start building nests because they think it’s such a beautiful sunny spring morning.

And your neighbors will also be pleased when they make coffee at 3:00 a.m. every few days because your motion sensor is malfunctioning and suggests it’s already bright outside and time to get up ;)

But then we have to dim them manually? How does the lamp know when to illuminate the walkway or when to shine on the uninvited guest?

By pressing the right button or letting the whole thing be automated. Cozy decorative lighting can, for example, run on a timer; alarm lighting could be controlled by motion detectors.
