Otherwise, you have to make sure to have electrical wiring installed or extended in your attic box. Otherwise, you are left only with [Smarthome] systems based on radio signals and motion detectors with batteries or rechargeable batteries. Then you can even control your lamps from Australia, if you want.

I am wondering if we can use the power from the doorbell for this. It will run over PoE anyway, but we have both installed. I don't know off the top of my head if it is a 3x1.5.

Alternatively:
Maybe we can position the motion sensor in such a way that it covers the house entrance and the garage. Accordingly, the radius of the sensor would have to be adjusted.

I am thinking of a 360° sensor that is mounted at the corner of the house under the eaves.

So the external insulation is on. Unfortunately, it is just a doorbell wire, so probably not usable for lighting. I am looking for a motion detector with 360-degree view, then I am thinking of installing the device exactly at the corner of the house under the porch roof.

Hello

I have a thought that I would like to share with you.

Idea: The spots in the roof boxes should permanently shine but dimmed at a certain % level, when the BWM is triggered, the lamp should go to 100% and later back to the previous % level. Feasible with our setting?

Regards

Please stop that. It is a first-class waste of energy, annoys the neighbors, looks totally stupid because the exterior plaster is usually wavy, is not good for wildlife, etc.

Install lights that turn on when you need them... and if no one is outside or sneaking around, it can be dark around the house.

It would have been easier if you had said it doesn't work with our setup :-D
