Oh wow...

That's why I'm buying a mini excavator and doing it myself But I'll keep giving my two cents here if I may

There are too many plants or too much work for me too! I can already see myself buying a huge, fully grown weeping willow for 6,000 euros and fencing around the property. My plan would be not to plant so heavily on the south side and only make a privacy screen with grasses combined with posts. I need the privacy screen in the west and around the corner towards the north. 10% of the house costs is always relative. On average, however, it usually matches up as far as I have researched.

I am following this exchange very closely as we also want to start with the outdoor facilities soon. I have now also requested a complete garden plan including plants, fence, etc. but am still waiting for feedback. I would also be very interested in somewhat more detailed information about the costs. Unfortunately, I can't make sense of 10% house costs either. What do you count as house costs?

The 10% are of course a guideline or average value. This can of course also escalate completely upwards. However, many say that the costs of the entire construction including ancillary construction costs can be used here. I have now received the third offer and they were all in the range of +-5,000,-

I can't imagine that you can set a flat rate regarding house costs, as there are many factors involved. Starting with the size of the plot... For 5000€, you get all the marked plants and they will be planted plus 2 terraces?

there is exactly what I wrote! You can also roughly specify the price per square meter for the construction costs of the house. There are no limits upwards, depending on the equipment... Just google "Kosten für Gartengestaltung". Then you will find plenty to read. Whether the house has a basement or not doesn't concern the garden. That's why there are of course fluctuations. In my case, they are also in the range of +-5000,- Euro.
