I had forgotten that and for me, a person sensitive to cold, that would be the deal-breaker...

Wow, these pond pools really look stylish. But the same points as would bother me: not heated and especially not coverable, so danger for children.

ok, not heatable, that's really an argument. But for me, that would be a no-go anyway. It’s more like most pools just get too warm for me in the summer, and if it’s still so cool outside that the pool stays cold, I don’t really feel like swimming outdoors. And in winter, I prefer a Jacuzzi instead.

Maybe a different idea:

an outdoor sauna?

The outdoor shower also cools you down.

How large do you think a natural swimming pond should be? I am asking because I would like to take your above suggestion as an inspiration for our garden.
