2 points would still interest me regarding the ground floor:

1. Technical room/storage room in the garage: Would you rather place the technical room (because of shorter cables) towards the house entrance (from the garage), or the storage room (because of shorter distances, since one needs to access the storage room much more often than the technical room)?

2. How much storage space in the storage room should we approximately plan for garden tools, garden furniture, car tires, basement or attic replacement, etc.? We actually do not want to create a separate "storage house" in the garden...

I would wait until the upper floor or the complete plan is available. What good is the great ground floor if the sewage pipe from the toilet on the upper floor has to be routed through the kitchen on the ground floor with a transparent pipe?

Right, and one or two views wouldn’t be bad either. There are quite a few corners and jumps, and I would also be interested in the roof solution.

The small wall parallel to the garage is also not quite clear to me yet.

Regarding storage space ... it makes sense, to get an idea yourself, e.g. to realistically position large cars in the garage, bicycles, stacks of tires, etc. Then you quickly get a feel for where you need which space.

Garden furniture .. I am, for example, more a fan of weatherproof furniture that simply always stays outside. Then on a wonderfully sunny winter day, you can even enjoy half an hour of sun wrapped in a blanket and protected. And if you do store it, it is also something different if you are a fan of lounge groups or if you have folding chairs.

We are currently working on the upper floor and it really is not turning out to be very easy. Especially the question of whether the upper floor should protrude or not ^^ I will update soon.

Behind it, the trash bin, old paper, and organic waste are actually intended. Since my wife doesn't like these anyway, they will probably be history soon ^^ I just have to figure out where else to put them...

I have done that now and have made the garage a bit wider, as well as planned a 7m2 room (in the northwest corner of the garage) in front of the cars for bicycles, tires, etc. I now have 17 + 7 = 24m2 of storage (+ storage space under the stairs), which should be enough as an attic/cellar replacement. I know myself. If I make more, I will surely fill up the space (as is currently the case with my attic! ^^)

I thought you had a planner. Did he even half plan the house?

If you want to save energy, skip overhanging components.

I'm not sure if there was really a planner at work, because he would deliver complete plans.

We have a planner, but as mentioned, we have only had 2 meetings, with the first one being very general. That means there is kind of a draft of a preliminary plan (the first one probably suits very few). As said, this is not about details now, but about the rough layout and room distribution. It is exactly in this phase that I would like to ask for your opinion because later, when the execution plan is finished, I probably won't need to ask for opinions anymore...

So now about the upper floor. I have digitized the sketches again here and would now like to ask for comments regarding the layout (please disregard door directions, missing windows, etc.).

Here again for comparison, the ground floor (so there is no upper floor above the garage and the living room):
