That makes sense if you plan to lower the ceiling, for example. But in fact, you can arrange the shelves in a tall and deeper wall cabinet identically. With the tall one, you just have more storage space in the top compartment. With flap doors, of course, it doesn't work because they swing upwards and need space. But I think that's purely a matter of taste.

When I "review" this here again... Any legitimate criticisms are completely smoothed over by the OP. So what's the point of this topic at all? Go to a professional with pro tools, they'll build you something nice.;)

You are right, let's let it play back once more... Some people in my opinion just don't understand that I don't immediately say "great, I'll do it" to every well-meant suggestion. Where exactly did I "smooth over" anything? Height of kitchen cabinets? For the reasons mentioned, we don't want that, so we'll just do it this way... Refrigerator next to the patio door, we don't want that for justified reasons, but we'll just do it this way... Le Mans cabinets, we and others don't like them, but sure: we'll take them if desired... ... Sorry driver55, where exactly is your problem?

It is probably more that you don’t recognize the difference between „suggestions“ and rules developed and proven over years. No one expects a „I’ll do it“. But maybe an open ear, since you are already asking. Maybe also a question why it should be better that way, what the advantage would be. Instead, you brush it off and come up with your own arguments, without assuming that not only A, but also B, C or option D might work. Even with short people. There are users in your post here who plan kitchens voluntarily. They would probably love to help you get a neutral view on ergonomic work, but because of the hasty brushing off of help, people don’t really feel like helping someone who doesn’t want to be helped. You apparently don’t accept the logic behind a few sentences here. How could you?! Apparently you think you can do it. That is probably how this space came about, which doesn’t offer much possibility because of the window placements or 6! openings in the walls. You probably do your actual job really well. But when you look at this now, professionals should be in charge, right? You find them, for example, in and in … but you don’t accept the well-meaning answers… None of the respondents here have a problem, we all already have a kitchen, planned either by a professional or by the above-mentioned. One is really happy with their kitchen, the other realizes they wasted some potential. That is experience… and that is communicated here as well. Because many here also know their weaknesses. Maybe you should just reflect on that and your kitchen.

So basically you really love your design? You describe your plan and ask only for "ideas, comments, suggestions" but reject everything that's mentioned and still think the planning is great as it is? What kind of ideas, comments, suggestions are you looking for and why? I am a bit puzzled.

I don't quite understand it either. Especially because many of the points were really valid. The note about the KVA -> near the sink, for example. The reply to that was "you can also carry it 3 meters every 2 days."

Sure, you can. But you can also trip, spill the coffee grounds-water mixture over the floor, and then have to clean it up. Someone living in a rental apartment where the kitchen is already installed, and who can't find another place for the coffee machine, will probably be able to live with it just fine. But if I'm planning a kitchen in a new building (?), I wouldn't voluntarily include such nonsense in it myself.

Many of the comments given are valid, many of the responses are more like "it doesn't bother us." You can live with many things, but when planning something new, you should try to avoid disadvantageous compromises where possible, right?
