Ah okay, it is indeed on the tile.
Almost louder, however, is the brine pump.

Good or bad - my plumber insisted that I build a platform decoupled from the floor and wall on the raw subfloor because otherwise the parts would be audible.

Our heat pump stands on 3 concrete slabs, 100x80 cm each, with one rubber mat in between each. And towards the basement, there is a soundproof door.

So the Flexo is really more like the noise of a humming refrigerator. You have to listen right in front of the door to hear it. In bed, of course, everything in the house is extremely quiet (the ventilation system on the ground floor is currently still off at night because the controller still needs to be repaired) and I can hear my wife breathing. I can also hear some humming in the distance - when I close the bedroom door I don't hear anything anymore.

And do you find the entrance area big enough?
How about dirt in the guest toilet?
Do you have to store a stroller in the entrance area or would you comfortably fit one in?

Hehe, there is currently only a shoe rack there. The situation feels very friendly because of the staircase that opens towards it (visitors have already said that too). I think it is big enough - we no longer have a stroller. A bit bigger might be not bad though; I can probably only say that definitively once we have found a proper solution for the wardrobe. Dirt/painter's fleece is unfortunately everywhere, as the craftsmen are still coming by now and then.
