Hello everyone,

since 08.12.2020 we have had our photovoltaic system connected to the meter. Now we have to submit our first meter reading. According to the meter, we have fed in 891 kWh so far (today). How should this number be assessed? We mostly had gray weather and a few slightly sunny days.
Can anyone say something about this and give an assessment?
Edit: under the possible assumption that I am interpreting this incorrectly, the meter shows 891 kWh fed into the grid as of today. 2 kWh from the grid. Which seems plausible since we do not live there yet and only draw power for devices and meanwhile use a few LED lights.
Edit2: oh yes, the system has 9.8 kWp gross.

So something must be incorrect with your data. We have a 9.3 kWp system (south roof) and produced 163 kWh in December. Do you have a 2-way meter and possibly confused feed-in and consumption?

Yes, I do. 1 shows 891 kWh, 2 shows 2 kWh. It also seems strange to me. That’s why I’m asking. According to the meter reading request, 1 is "high tariff delivery" and 2 is "high tariff consumption."

ah ok, that sounds more like a double tariff meter, so "daytime electricity" and "nighttime electricity".

Can you explain what that means in your opinion? Unfortunately, I was not present during the installation and am currently trying to understand which meter is for what. A second physical meter is installed for the heat pump. It shows 263 kWh.

I don't know how you envisioned the whole setup, but often a heat pump tariff doesn't make much sense. Ultimately, it's simple math and you can calculate which option works best for you. We produce, consume as much as possible ourselves, and feed the rest in. Two numbers should appear on your electricity meter: 1.8.0 is always consumption 2.8.0 is feed-in Do you see them?
