Where are you from? My 8.6 kWp south-facing roof in Nuremberg only produced 129 kWh in December. January is also looking poor with just 83 kWh so far. Actually, the region is often sunny. But this year something is wrong.

I am near Dresden.

In January, I am pretty much on par with you. :)

This year so far only 10 kWh generated (9.7 kWp) :-( The problem is the snow that stays on the roof too long. By far the worst month so far.

You were really lucky with December. If PVGIS gives you 300kWh, you're already doing extremely well.

So, it seems to be clearing up. The solar technician says it also seems very high to him. Possibly the meter connections could be swapped. They will check that tomorrow. The more likely reason for the extremely high consumption, however, will be that after the installation of the meter we still had an electric heater for the underfloor heating for a while, basically a construction site part, since the heat pump could only be installed about 2 weeks later. If that is the case, then that is the case. But at least then we will know.

Since I am also from near Dresden, I took our data as a comparison for fun. At least it seems we have the same weather (9th-13th Dec.) 28.35kWp E/W/W.
