Only that math does not find a meaningful application without thinking. Anyone who does not consider the distribution of yield over the day and the year besides the pure yield calculation can build a system that produces more but makes less usable in the house. With an electricity price that for a newly registered system is a factor 4.x above the feed-in tariff, self-consumption optimization makes sense. And suddenly areas that extend the yield hours instead of maximizing the yield itself become interesting. By now, even 70-80 degree steep south-facing systems on the facade are interesting for the winter yield – almost complete direct consumption in the house. The rest is simple math.
