Hello,
we have a southwest-facing terrace and are quite exposed to the wind here in the new development area. We have been considering for a while what the right shading solution is. The advantages of a terrace roof include robustness and also that the furniture is somewhat protected in winter. However, the price, especially with vertical shading, is enormous. What I cannot assess is the heat accumulation under the glass, despite the shading. Alternatively, we are thinking about a pergola awning with posts at the end, so that it is significantly more stable in the wind. The price is about half that of the roof. Do you have any recommendations or tips?
