That may be, but a curtain is the last thing people do nowadays.
I agree, I just tested showering in a completely open 5 x 5 meter shower, it wasn’t flooded, but I could still measure that 1 m to the left and right and 2 m to the front were splashed. They don’t manage it any other way either.
I wouldn’t even claim that a rain shower splashes more.
Sure, but with an open front that won’t work, the shower jet has to be aimed toward the tub.

Okay, and open at the front? Rain shower or hand shower?
I don’t understand what you mean by the wall and running off..
I see, in the last suggestion that was no longer the case.
I still find it a bit odd and think the bathroom offers enough space for a “nicer” placement.
The bathroom planner says everything is possible, the variant with the sink in the middle is hard to implement.
He suggests something along these lines:

The shower would have light – one side a glass wall, the wall by the toilet is only half-high (~120 cm)
We would prefer the toilet diagonally if the effort is not much higher; if a straight toilet is simpler, that would also be fine.
The rotation of the access door depends on the final decision.

Yes, for us it is 1.50 m long and open at the front.
Rain shower and hand shower.
