No, not everywhere either. Some consider it too risky, as on the one hand it is fraud against the employer (lost, priced-in wear and tear, non-payment for work performed) and on the other hand it is tax evasion (illegal work)... maybe the construction worker would even be willing to do it, but the project managers and foremen I have met so far don't find it funny either.

You have things in there that are not done (should not be done) by the garden landscaper or that do not happen "at the end." For example, P4 actually takes place right at the beginning of construction by the civil/structural builder. Connections are ordered before the first ground-breaking; (construction) electricity is needed at the latest for the crane. Infiltration must be planned directly and approved. Everything involving ground preparation, e.g., graveling, should be handed directly to the civil engineer (gravel for driveway, terrace, etc.).

I also think it is better to know in advance maybe what, where is to be built/may be built (in the garden). For example, I think above a soakaway tunnel it may/is better if no garden shed stands(?). Therefore a) one should know what is possibly feasible by an excavation contractor (of course for a fee) and b) one has a rough idea of the garden and so on. For example, where it is best to park the bicycles, garden shed, greenhouse, chicken coop, beds, sandbox (just an idea). A 3m distance to the neighbor should also be well used since the property is not really big. What will actually be fulfilled afterwards is another matter. Of course, when one lives there for a few weeks or months one knows more, sun path, wind, shade, neighbors, etc. then a lot can change, needs as well. I will list what an excavation contractor can do. I ask you for corrections and additions. I will discuss this with the site manager or the head of the company. 1. Infiltration for rainwater 2. Drainage 3. Connection of wastewater 4. Preparation for the driveway, terrace and carport (excavation and graveling)

Your 4th point very much depends, in my opinion, on where things are located on his property and when which work can be carried out. For example, if the silos will be placed by the plasterer in the area where your terrace is supposed to go due to space reasons, I wouldn't have the gravel laid beforehand. You should also clarify beforehand whether a scaffold will be needed somewhere after the gravel is laid and whether the scaffolder can place it on the ground (possibly with a height offset).

Yes, thank you for the note. I hope that the contractor will even submit a reasonable offer for these works. Then they can say whether it is possible to add gravel there beforehand.
