Thank you very much for this valuable tip! In the next call with the house manufacturer, I will ask if they have any relevant experience... Which oil did you use? :)

He made a fixed price for excavation in terms of LxWxH including soil replacement with mineral mixture. The excavation initially remains on the property, but in case of emergency, I already have someone for removal with a price per cubic meter. If the "work area" should become critically tight due to the excavation volume, we still have surrounding farmers who could quickly and uncomplicatedly clear some away if necessary (former arable land, 50 cm topsoil, underneath sand)... Thanks for the hint - we had planned anyway to keep everything if possible, since this soil can really be used well :)

Hi, the painter sprayed the ceiling twice with "ADLER Lignovit Interior UV 100". After the first coat, it still looked very streaky, but the final result turned out very good. After now 2 years, there is no noticeable graying or visibly darkened spots. The ceiling consists of 16 / 18 cm thick BSH, which we ordered from the shell builder in solid wood quality.

One more small thing about the floor plan that could be changed in my opinion (if desired). The small niche in the utility room? What is it for? I would partition it off and plan a door to the hallway. Then instead of a closet, you have a cloakroom that offers much more storage space than a shallower closet.

Is it allowed to comment on the outdoor planning? A thought came to me. (And if I wait until you start with the outdoor area, I might be dead because of my age by then. :) Which only has to do with my age, not with your planning. ;-) )

:D

Of course you may. I read the garden thread attentively and we want a colorful, insect-friendly garden and not a DoStaFence + lawn... But the garden will only exist if/when there is money :p
