Good morning! I will get to it later :) however, it is a timber frame house with log siding, in case that helps to shed some light on things :)

if your husband likes planning kitchens, has he already downloaded the ALNO planner from there? or does he not have Windows? the V15 version is available for download there.

Hello everyone! :)

We have a foundation slab  After some back and forth, small to medium problems and a lot of nerves… But it’s done and on 29.08. the concrete was already poured. The weather was very good, so we didn’t have to water much and nothing washed away… Construction water, construction electricity, construction site setup and insurances are all already in place – so we can get started.

That’s a good thing, because:

Progress is being made in other areas as well. Today we approved the wall plans (keyword electrical drillings and exact position of doors and windows). Starting September 18th our house will be produced – we are currently considering whether to visit the plant during that time… The window order is also due, where we finally have to decide on the colors. This is inconvenient in that we roughly know what we want, but describing it in RAL colors is currently really difficult for us… Maybe you can help us :)

We imagined that we would like the windows to be white inside and outside, as well as the reveal frames (so that it’s not too dark inside and bright and friendly outside). The facade color is freely selectable, we have to decide on that once the house is already standing. A friendly orange-brown perhaps? Or more like honey? We would like the roof to be red because it will be very large and bulky – a dark tile would probably overwhelm us (no tile selected yet here either – maybe someone has a suggestion? We have pretty good conditions with Röben and Creaton…)

We searched a lot and saw a color combination at another manufacturer that we quite like:

(see house example picture below)

Now we come to the crux: We would like to choose the front door and the side door as an eye-catcher in a nice, rich, strong color. Currently we are thinking of red, but whether that could fit in the end is quite hard for us to assess… This will be the front door (just in a different color).

(see front door picture below)

We would be very happy about your ideas! :)

Oh, that's nice, that green roofs don't have to be orange :)
