Yes, that's how they are, the admins, when they run out of arguments... always playing the "Big Boss" card. But as you can see, I changed it!

Just for your information, even if it’s none of your business....

I am a completely ordinary worker in a large company/factory, there is no special job title for my position, at least not according to my employment contract. I can gladly invent one that describes the job, but you don’t want that. So unfortunately, only "worker" remains, or operator of various machines, devices, systems

The arguments certainly do not run out for the construction expert, but you will be able to understand that after the 23rd resistant (or recalcitrant?) user, one simply no longer feels like it.

Stating the profession is important insofar as I do not have to explain to a "bank clerk" what interest rate risk is. To a "landscape gardener," maybe I do. Conversely, someone might have to explain to me how to avoid footprints on fresh turf, but that is taken for granted with the landscape gardener. You do not necessarily have to explain to a roofer what physical and time commitment of self-performance means, but you do have to explain that to the programmer...

I don't think a bank clerk asks about financing here in the forum, or a roofer what kind of work it is to do it themselves. From that perspective, I still find it basically unnecessary. Because if someone asks something here, you can assume that he/she hasn't learned it and needs help, regardless of the profession.

Then forget it... how many counterexamples should I find? I can think of at least 3 examples off the top of my head where it was like this (or something similar).

However, this does not stop at the exchange of words between the questioner and the respondent, but a discussion takes place. And if a worker or an account manager doesn't understand something, people are more understanding and explain it again, rather than losing patience. Toxics have always enjoyed having know-it-alls explain finances before we had this rule.
