Oh yes... I don't like the windows in the shower either. The architect says they are necessary because the large one can only be tilted.??? What are your solutions? Thank you very much

You should first provide all the information requested in the thread I linked.

And then maybe post a current plan with parapet heights and perhaps one or two elevations? ;) Then the question arises as to why the window in the bathroom at the top of the plan can only be tilted. And just ask the architect if he will come by and dry the windows after showering. *shaking my head* ... what kind of statement is that?

And why does that child have to go to the north? That doesn't make sense to me right now with your explanation.

Hello, so I would think carefully about the open staircase. After seven years, we have now moved out of a house with a staircase in the living room and deliberately built differently. The retreat options are limited, but the noise disturbance is all the greater. Energetically not great either (in our case it was also open to the basement).

The open staircase must be there, we all like it. Of course, we have thought about it and left the option open to later possibly install a glass door if we come to the conclusion that it is too open and the heat escapes. We don't have a basement. And yes, I am brand new here and simply posted the floor plan spontaneously to hear opinions. I will follow up and post the required remainder later. (Just haven't had the time yet.) The question of why the older child should be in the north is simply answered: since he often has visits from friends and it sometimes gets loud and late, we and he also do not want to be directly adjacent to him. I prefer the younger one, who goes to bed at eight, next door. That is the only reason. Thanks for your tips and questions... I will consult my architect tomorrow and bombard him with questions.
