I think having a separate toilet is good! But it's a total detour to the bedroom... Hm, since you only sleep there, phew, so in the evening to the bathroom, take off clothes in the dressing room, wash and bed. In the morning the other way around and otherwise you don't have to go into the bedroom... So I understand the idea, it saves hallway space. My first spontaneous thought was: how stupid. But I think I'll think about it some more...

To me, the whole thing looks poorly planned and completely non-functional.

From the outside, yes, quite nice, but luckily I didn't want to and don't have to live inside :)

Even if the kids eventually move out, 12.6sqm - wow

I wouldn't want to live in the dark cave on the ground floor. And going through the bathroom to the bedroom would be too inconvenient for me.

97 sqm on the upper floor and only 25% for the children?? But almost 50% for the parents, including a bathroom that is almost as large as the two children's rooms combined? And then the toilet in the bathroom in a corner without a window... well, I can only shake my head at that.

What happened to the shared TV corner?

I really do not like the upper floor design at all.

I see it the same way with the dark ground floor. Therefore, we still need to make some changes to the layout here. The bathroom and bedroom don't bother me at all, since there is only a bed in the bedroom and you usually only have to go in once a day and in the morning out. We have also already passed on the size of the children's rooms (was one of the first topics), as we want at least 15 m2 here.

Were the children actually already older? Or are they still in the planning stage? If still in the planning stage, then the first years of childhood should also be considered. The path to the children's rooms from the parents' bed is not very practical.
