NOVELAN LAD9 heat pump error 704

Good morning everyone,

our heat pump of the brand Novelan, model LAD9, has been showing error 704 for 6 weeks now, always when it gets cold. Specifically, this error occurs whenever there are minus degrees outside, Hot Gas Fault.
We have already called the manufacturer several times; at the moment, they cannot deliver the compressor, which apparently needs to be replaced according to the manufacturer.

The error keeps occurring again and again, and the manufacturer provides no information at all, also to my question about what happens if our system suffers further damage due to the delivery delay?
Therefore, my question to you is, do you know what rights we have in this case? The system is 3.5 years old.

The only thing the customer service said on the phone is that it can be switched to heating rod. Then you heat with electricity… to my question, if we then pay the high electricity bill, of course I get no answer…. Great service….

Clearly really annoying, but the warranty is simply expired, or did you take out the extension? What is the replacement supposed to cost?

No one has been here yet, so I have no idea about the costs at all. A technician I spoke to on the phone, who was luckily competent, said that they usually give five years on everything related to the refrigerant. I might be lucky there and he said I could probably relax about that. Still just really annoying...
I have now also switched the second heat source for hot water...

Ok, strange. I also had a problem with our heat pump from AIT shortly before Christmas, and someone from the factory service was here within 3 or 4 days.

I would definitely have a technician come, maybe you're lucky and it's only something minor.
