Why should others suffer because you yourself can't manage to be happy?

I don't believe that the OP's fundamentally negative attitude will change if the neighbor should carry out deconstruction. The OP will find another thing to get annoyed about that "isn't worth it."

And he learns that misconduct is sanctioned. If I violate the rules and get caught, I just have to bear the consequences. No one is to blame for that except me. Personally, I don’t care about most of what my neighbor does. Luckily, it’s the same the other way around. But passing the blame to the "Peter" is simply brazen.

And here people keep babbling about "property" makes you free, no more miserable landlords, etc. etc. -> lol.

How to proceed depends clearly on what characters are actually involved here. Maybe the neighbor is super careless and we have a nitpicker as the complainant here. I wouldn't want someone like that as a neighbor even for free. Or the neighbor is generally a miserable bastard and nothing should be tolerated from him etc. etc.

Totally confusing to discuss something like this here in the forum. Grow up and decide for yourselves.

Well, when does one harm their neighbor? Now there’s a terrace and next year a shed. I would be annoyed too. And I would put up a fence myself because I didn’t want to see the neighbor anymore. I have the feeling that often people become more inconsiderate with property because it belongs to them. They forget that they are not the only ones living in the area. For example, we speak quietly on the terrace. But it seems we are a dying species in our area. Yesterday the neighbors were three gardens away outside. I thought I was sitting with them on the terrace.

Then don’t speak quietly yourselves anymore. Either people will complain, the best time to address the issue, or not -> enjoy your life and no more consideration.

I also live in an area where there are proper parties here and there in the summer. It annoyed me at first, but thanks to Orophax, it doesn’t matter. At the same time, I’ve now taken away my own right to complain.

Not a bad new feeling of life either.

It’s just stupid when the neighborhood thinks they can make a ruckus but then denies others that right. Then there’s big trouble.
