A tiny house is not necessarily mobile. There are both mobile and fixed tiny houses. However, whether several tinys on one plot fit the character of the surroundings and thus correspond to §34, I would also doubt.

No, no, the Tiny House on Wheels like in the USA is not meant here; it should rather go in the direction of a minimal house. The problem is that the terms are not (yet) protected (also called cabins, eco-design houses, etc.). Now let's just imagine small EFM houses with a max. of 50 sqm (12 m x 4 m) floor area with the same proportions and facades and roofs as the "big" ones. The "small house manufacturer" already knows what is possible and what is not, and above all we don't care at all if it gets tricky. As a professional with the appropriate experts at hand, they can really let loose and make an effort. With a young sympathetic family, we would be a bit worried (that's why we wanted to do the preliminary work: what is possible and what is not). Otherwise, the general reference to § 34 remains. We want to have the topic off the table by June 2025 at the latest...

Just a basic question: Your father will also gift you the property with the option to build yourself. He probably had something in mind with that. Isn't that an option for you?

Yes, while unfortunately the term tiny house is currently used for many things because mobile home sounds so uncool. One has a foundation, the other does not – that's how I learned it. . Edit: Sorry, I hadn't read that yet. That's exactly how it is.

We currently live in Bavaria, our daughter is starting 11th grade in September and until the Abitur we - actually - don't want to move away. But after that, our real goal is then MV!

We would have liked to build in one of the outer districts of Leipzig, but found no property. Now it is the Leipzig district, 20 minutes by car to the Gewandhaus. Do airplanes fly over your property, since Halle-Leipzig Airport is also located north of Leipzig?
