No, definitely not, no matter where the wind blows from, you hear nothing (and Leipzig/Halle is a cargo airport with 24/7 operation)...

Maybe it would be helpful to mention that in your ad. My husband and I were deterred from being interested in properties/houses in the north of Leipzig because of the airport. You inform about it, the interested parties can convince themselves on site. An airport nearby is great if you don’t hear it. ;-) We intentionally spent one night in Rackwitz to get acquainted with the north of Leipzig. At night, instead of counting sheep, we counted planes, this was around 2019. It was funny in a way, because they are "supposedly" only allowed to approach/land until midnight (?), but there were so many planes up that we could count until about 2 a.m.... those were probably the cargo planes. One of the employees of our house building company has lived in Rackwitz since his birth and it seems that people get used to the aircraft noise there. He no longer perceives it and could live somewhere else if he wanted to.

That is the fatal thing about noise, you no longer notice it and it still definitely makes you sick...

I would be very cautious with such "fortune seekers." I am trying to sell a garden (not building land) and I get so many inquiries from people in that direction who have absolutely no idea about building laws or land development.

That was not known to me. Thank you for the information.
