Thank you for the hints regarding the windows. We always have the option to choose more or larger windows. It is already certain, for example, that floor-to-ceiling windows will be used next to the patio door. Otherwise, practical aspects play a role, for example, installing a countertop under the window in the kitchen or on the south side (4x 3/4 height windows) for a bit of privacy because the neighbor is close. Apart from that, we have recently often walked through new housing areas and find the extremely large windows—sometimes shop windows like in a store—terrible. You can see everything, from the furnishings to the residents; I think then I don’t need my own house but might as well move into an open commune. That does not mean we have anything against light, but in our current half-timbered house, the windows are smaller and the brightness is still given. We have already considered a round gable window, but not yet decided.

Where exactly is the house connection on the property?

And are you planning to put 2 cars and 1 caravan in a row in the carport?

As for the roof shape, would a single-pitched roof be possible, or is your heart set on the cathedral roof?

You really come up to the 3m boundary to the neighbor with the south-facing windows.

: The roof shape is fixed because a) our plot is set down from the street and b) we prefer it with a gable. The carport should fit the motorhome and at least one car, with the other happily beside or in front. The house connection is located at the street on the south side of the plot. So opposite the utility room, about 15-17 m.

Is there already a cross-section of the street entrance and house location ... you write 150 cm it slopes down and then a slight gradient towards the east I assume. I would have thought there would be some filling. How many meters should the house be away from the street?

No, this cut does not exist yet. The drawing in the initial post is the first draft. If I remember correctly, a maximum of 1 m may be piled up. The house must be 4 m away from the street. And that's right, the slope goes to the east, but there is also a plot of land below.

That would be on the one hand very un-Sweden-house-like, and on the other hand, in my opinion, it does not conflict because with the cathedral roof, not a roof but a ceiling is meant.
