Floor plan positioned on the entire property would be interesting. The office protrudes into the driveway to the garage, you will always have to maneuver a car around this corner. It doesn't have to be that way. Too much hallway, too many corners without use. In the very convoluted bathroom, you first walk over the floor that is wet after showering right behind the door. The overall positioning of the rooms is basically not wrong, but it is not yet a finished thing. If you want to live in it for a long time and feel comfortable, I would invest more time in better plans. Also, the co-criterion northwest - Netto market could possibly be partially reconsidered: you are probably only in your bedroom and dressing room mostly at times when the Netto market is closed anyway. Therefore, I would consider this positioning as an option. Maybe a better overall concept could grow from this with a slightly differently positioned staircase... The bedroom could share the currently "wasted" northern square meters of the hallway with an enclosed dressing room on the west side? Guest WC possibly integrated into the northwest area next to the front door -> smaller utility room, in return shift of the office (flush to the house) plus small pantry on the west side next to the kitchen possible?

Purely in terms of room layout, you could take a look at the Sento from Fingerhaus.

Thank you for the many good ideas. Of course, I will invest more time to work on the "rough edges" here. Let's see how we can optimize the walkways and corridors further. The upper floor gives me the most headaches; we don't have a good solution yet – it will probably involve repositioning the staircase. Thanks also for the tip about [Fingerhaus] – I'll take a look at it right away ...

Hello everyone, we were at another architect's office. We like the attached design much better, and it has already taken most of the negative comments into account.

Furthermore, the garage is now included, as well as the location of the house on the plot.

Looking forward to hearing what you think...

It seems that the structuring of the individual areas has played a particularly important role. Even in the children's rooms, there is a desk area and a bed area. Apparently, the children have a high priority. I like that. Design principles are helpful for good architecture.

What would probably annoy me as a resident after a while are:

[*]too little connection of the kitchen to everyday life, e.g. distance to the terrace, to the entrance, and if there is already a passage to the garage, then also to the groceries that you take out of the trunk there.
[*]sleeping with the head under the slope
[*]angular bathroom far from the sleeping area
[*]children always have to pass the bedroom, which gets annoying especially with teenagers

Thank you for the feedback

- Sleeping under the slant is not a problem
- The path from the bedroom to the bathroom must be there, otherwise one room is lost
- Door to the staircase bedroom, so the children don't come past there, is a good idea, we'll revisit that.
- We definitely want the kitchen next to the dining room, so there is no direct access to the garage here.
