Swapping the kitchen and living area is worthwhile for sociable people. I like it better. I much prefer reorganizing the sleeping area upstairs into an open version except for the narrow passage to the left side of the bed and into the toilet. But that’s not really a problem as long as you stay slim and healthy. If the apartment in the attic is meant for older people – provide the option of retrofitting an elevator. Access through the bathroom is not suboptimal... not planned, but in the ground floor (air space) the option would be there. Thought exercise: Buy a neighboring property at some point – otherwise, the garden is a bit tight.

You think so. Unfortunately no longer possible, and it wouldn’t be affordable for a garden either. 120 sqm remain for the lawn + terrace.

A spiral staircase as the main traffic route? No-go - far too accident-prone! And the parents are supposed to go up the stairs twice to arrive? Or I just don’t understand the whole thing...

Hehe, yes, the seniors on the roof rack does have something naive about it. I simply think the principle "the eyes are bigger than the mouth" probably applies not only to ice cream sundaes but also to dream houses in architecture magazines. Function follows form, no Louboutins without the red sole. And there might even be a similarly rational reason for the staircase as in Southwest Bonn :-)

Planned at the house entrance on the left (east side) as a carport and also possible in front of it
