Hello,
we are getting a multi-utility house entry from Hauff. The first two utilities introduced there are the house connection for electricity and water, that is clear to me so far.
The third utility is telecommunications. If I understood correctly, a large empty conduit (e.g. Kabuflex DN75) is connected to this utility outside the basement and runs to the property boundary. Here are a few questions about the telecom utility (marked with A):
A1. Question: The telecom company then pushes their telecom cable through this empty conduit and pulls the cable to the property boundary and connects it there to the connected telecom cable (which sticks out of the ground about one meter for me, outer diameter approx. 11 mm), correct?
A2. Question: Parallel to this (i.e. in this 75 mm Kabuflex conduit) comes another empty conduit (speed pipe for fiber optics, outer diameter 12 mm), right?
A3. Question: As I understood from Hauff customer support, 5 cables fit through the telecom utility (1 x 13-21mm, 3x7-13mm and 1x5-13mm). So I would have 3 connections free for the future and could, if a new technology or something similar comes along, push more cables through the Kabuflex conduit. However, the Kabuflex conduit is about 50 m long (we are building in the second row) with 3 90-degree bends. Is it realistic that I will ever be able to push something more through the Kabuflex conduit?
A4. Question: We are building, as mentioned above, in the second row. We even have a second driveway and *two* possibilities where our fiber optic cable could come from later. At the second driveway a speed pipe empty conduit was also provided to the property. How do I get the speed pipe conduit from driveway 2 into the Kabuflex conduit that leads to driveway 1? Is it, for example, advisable to slit the Kabuflex conduit near the multi-utility entry and insert the second speed pipe there?
Then I have further questions about the fourth utility (marked with B). Normally, this is gas. We have no gas and I would like to use this utility to lay cables to my garage.
B5. Question: Can I choose a similar utility insert for this utility as for the telecom utility, so that I can also push 5 lines through there (1 x 13-21mm, 3x7-13mm and 1x5-13mm)? I would then need to run 5x10 mm2 underground electricity cables (outer diameter 20.4 mm), LAN underground cable (outer diameter 8 mm), telecom underground cable for sensor technology (10x2x0.8 outer diameter 12.5 mm), and KNX underground cable (2x2x0.8 outer diameter 9 mm) over to the garage. That should just fit and I would even have one connection free for the future (the way to the garage is relatively straight and only a few meters), or am I overlooking something?
B6. Question: The empty conduit to the garage would then come out of the ground *next to* the garage. Later I would drill a hole in the garage near ground level and feed the cables through there. How does one seal the conduit and also the drilled hole on the garage side?
And one general question:
C7. Question: How do you actually connect a Kabuflex empty conduit with the multi-utility entry?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
