Maybe some people think he’s stingy at the front and then throws the money around at the back. But we actually still have 20,000 left in the construction budget, and the landscape gardener has already received two-thirds as an installment; otherwise, apart from Telekom, everything is paid. So, besides some furnishing components, pleated blinds, a new washing machine, many new lamps, we also treated ourselves to a moving company that professionally handled everything for 2512,-. That was a really smart decision that took a lot of stress away. I can recommend it. Now, in the fall, we will probably get a new couch and possibly a dryer. We have our eye on the Landskrona from Ikea in brown leather. Has a slope towards that one. Karsten The home altar is in the making

Our joint move is coming up soon. Before that, wallpaper and flooring still need to be done. It’s going to be stressful enough. The bathroom will take a while too, so we’ll probably have to commute for about a week to shower. But only within town. The move into my old house was hell. I swore never to move again after that. But as soon as the baby came, the place got too small and we needed something else. Today I’m sleeping on an air mattress in the new house for the first time so I can get a lot done.

Happy is the one who does not have a stick up their ass. Our house, in which we last lived temporarily, was sold as of 1.9. When the planned date 3.9.-4.9. became uncertain, the new owner showed himself generous. One week would be no problem, he said, he agreed with me, we hand over the keys on 18.9., but he is happy that we kept the promise that the moving truck will come on 11.9. Now only the cat is missing. She is free-roaming and still lives at the old property; we will get her when there is order and little noise here, she does not like that, then she would move out again immediately. Until then we feed her there. And she also catches one or the other mouse without us. Karsten

We went on vacation shortly after the move. During that time, our cat was cared for at the old house by a good friend. After the vacation, we brought our cat to us and wanted to keep her inside for 1-2 weeks at first to help her settle in. After 3 days, it was simply unbearable. So, she was let outside with a heavy heart. That went well for a few weeks, but then she disappeared without a trace. After a few notices were posted in the village, she showed up again at the door almost a week later.

Cat actually has to stay inside for 4 weeks during the move. 2 weeks is tight. They also like to run "home" during that time.

Tell me, Karsten, how does it look outside now? I had already envied the pretty paths. But is there already grass or even a little tree?
