Moving into the house - furniture, moving, setting up

Today is the third evening in our own home. Saturday was pure stress with commuting between the apartment, the recycling center, and the house. Friends and acquaintances helped like crazy, and now 80% of the furniture is in place, our little one's room is set up, and today the Telekom technician was here. On Thursday, the kitchen and our new sofa will arrive. By next weekend, all the boxes should be unpacked.

Still like vacation - only with lots of boxes and the cats are here too

But it's great... today I went over everything again with a small brush and a bit of paint - Somehow you put more effort in... when it's your own

We are similar to our cats. Sniffing, dusting, and scenting the new territory. Taking possession of it. Making it our own. New, unfamiliar, but somehow still mine. Not quite settled yet, but I don't want to go back. That's how I remember it. Karsten
