Matter of taste... yes!

But isn’t it the case that many things are considered great and stylish, but one doesn’t quite get the hang of mixing a few materials in such a way that a tasteful unity, namely a harmonious interior design, is created?
What applies throughout the entire house is what you can read regarding flooring in the open kitchen/living room.
You can’t even address hundreds of combination possibilities and no-gos here – you also have to see certain materials in color and possibly hold them side by side.
I would question a wooden ceiling that is whitewashed. Why have a wooden ceiling if it’s white anyway?
Wooden ceilings themselves are very dominant – I would do without them. But if you are into the full country house package and the house allows it, then go ahead
But it can also be completely overwhelming...

However, for such questions, when you are totally uncertain about the effect, there are always interior designers whose profession is material selection.

From your questions I get the feeling that many things could please you, you/you all have not yet made decisions before or during the construction, and now everyone with their suggestion meets open ears with you, but you cannot select them.

Best regards in short

There hasn't been much discussion about the furniture so far. But it should rather not necessarily be country style.

: do you think you could post or send some pictures?

You also often see wooden floors whitewashed so that the grain is still visible. Or what do you think about that with floors?

How high are your rooms with the finished flooring? You should already consider how your furniture should look. With the oak floor and the spruce ceiling, it will look quite rustic. If furniture in a third type of wood is added, it will look very mixed, and you will be very restricted regarding the furnishing. I just imagine it much more elegant with the wooden floor, and the furnishing can be chosen more flexibly.

We don't have particularly high rooms, rather standard height

Standard means anything from 240 to 260. You should know once how high the clear height is up to the underside of the beam and then also up to the formwork (i.e. the beam thickness).

With floors, haptics and warmth play a role. In addition, floors connect the individual pieces of furniture, and you have direct contact.

If you don't have or like a country house style, I would immediately decline!
