In the neighboring thread I saw that you have decided It would be nice if you would conclude your questions with your decision, so that those who answered can see whether their answer was successful - or not

In the meantime, we have made a decision and will opt for a solid wood ceiling with visible quality despite some disadvantages. It should remain light, so it will be treated with UV protection. Whether white pigments will be added will only become clear later. This might be done in just one room initially to see how it looks. It is also quite possible that it will become relatively white, but the wood grain will still be visible. We will see. In terms of price, it costs approximately €2200 more compared to the non-visible dowel wood ceiling. However, this saves the need for suspending, boarding, filling/sanding/wallpapering/plastering.

Hello,
we were also offered a wooden ceiling made of spruce.
We are also considering whether that matches wooden floors?
Could someone who has something like that please post a picture?
Thank you very much

Recently, I saw something like that in a prefabricated house park. Just google "talbau günzburg". There is also a picture in there with a solid spruce ceiling and oak parquet.

It’s not mine, but I really like the house.

Do you mean that there is too much wood for you or what do you not like?
