Hello dear forum,

as in my last post, it is about heating, sanitation, etc.
we have started building our house in our homeland.
everything concerning sanitation, heating, water pipes, etc. we want to buy in Germany and bring to Kosovo for installation.
I need good quality materials for the bathroom, underfloor heating, and sanitation.
What complete sets for underfloor heating can you recommend? Which manufacturer is qualitatively the best?
Which fittings for the bathroom can you recommend? (Hansgrohe? Kermi? Villeroy & Boch)
Which shower drains for level-access showers are the best?
Which water pipes are the best?
Before the question arises why we don’t buy it in the homeland, I can answer it directly: we don’t trust the quality down there. It may sound arrogant or elitist. But when it comes to something like this, I believe nothing beats good old German craftsmanship.
I thank you all in advance.
Happy New Year to you all!

No sets. Look for MSVR for underfloor heating at Heima24, heizungsdiscount or selfio. Take the cheapest 500m pipes (e.g. 16x2). They meet all standards and requirements and are of good quality. You also take accessories like manifolds etc. from there. "Brands" are not better and can’t do more either.

All depending on budget. All brands are good, unusual requests are expensive everywhere.

Brand products.

Here I would also stick to the above-mentioned underfloor heating tips. Take the pipes in the dimension you need (MSVR) and the matching fittings. Recommended are Pipetec pipes and fittings. But take the proper fittings. Pipetec is also available from other suppliers. Can even be pressed up to 32mm with a hand press.

Here you go. All already installed by me.

You can also take the expensive pipes/fittings from Geberit (Mepla) or Viega (Raxofix). But they are actually much more expensive and partly require special pressing jaws. I see no added value (partly made water with Raxofix and then switched to Pipetec).

If you want a mix of brand name & price/performance, you can also take FlowFit from Geberit - there is also a (comparatively) affordable manual press for the fittings in the system. I found it pretty good to work with (even for laymen like me), and the range of fittings and pipes is accordingly designed for both CW/HW as well as underfloor heating.

However, I mainly chose it because we also built a bathroom in the Geberit GIS system, and there are some simplifications if you stay within the system.
