I believe with that question you are better off in another forum. That's where the freaks for the topic are. I hope to ask for support there soon as well.

Hello maleba89

I have the feeling that you are not writing to get advice, but to have your plan confirmed.

No, that is not my intention, I am asking about the collector to know if it works at all the way I imagine it. Also because I first have to run the line to the collector.

I think the trench collector is more advantageous for the property than the ground drilling. Since it belongs to the heat pump, it might also work with the BAFA subsidy.

We have decided 90% for timber frame construction based on some good tips here in the forum with the following structure:

Wall:
1. Board facade 15mm
2. Air gap 30mm
3. Wood fiber insulation mat 60mm
4. Stud frame 200mm with Pavaflex or Steicoflex
5. OSB as vapor barrier
6. 60mm installation level
7. OSB 15mm
8. Gypsum board 12.5mm

Roof:
1. Roof tiles
2. Battens
2. Wood fiber insulation board
3. Rafters with insulation between rafters Pavaflex or Steicoflex
4. OSB as vapor barrier
5. Gypsum board

What are the differences if I insulate the floor slab from above or from below? We were proposed both. I think, due to the underfloor heating, that this is already important.

Under the underfloor heating and on the slab, you definitely need the insulation regardless of how the rest is executed. Unless you plan to heat the floor.

Hello maleba89

The collector is initially cheaper than a borehole. The borehole pays off quickly. Calculate for yourself: How warm is it one meter deep during frost? You must of course consider that you are extracting heat from the ground for a longer period. After a short time, the compressor has to run constantly because nothing is coming anymore. Probably the heating element switches on constantly. Cooling in summer? You can quickly forget that as well. Then an open refrigerator door is more advantageous. Now about the borehole? Even if it’s minus 20° for weeks, it’s always equally warm in the depth. You simply cannot extract so much heat that nothing more comes. In summer, it’s always cool. For me, it is always 15° at 75 meters. You initially save several thousand euros. But they are quickly used up by the higher electricity consumption (compressor, heating element).

... I have already done a little research on the topic air-to-air heat pump or brine-water heat pump
trench collector / shallow / deep or drilling or or ... and asked three people
and received four answers.

Where does the info come from about the 15° at 75m depth, that seems very unlikely to me
if the temperature only rises by three degrees every 100m?
