2. As an alternative, solid construction is also possible, here only the exterior walls and load-bearing walls, however, I would prefer to do without ETICS in this case and build monolithically if possible. Or do you think there are currently better alternatives?
- Monolithic construction can be done without problems.

3. We plan to use a heat pump and geothermal energy. Due to the size of the plot, I was thinking of trench collectors, but my question is whether they have to be located directly at the house or if, as shown in the drawing, they can also be placed some distance from the house? The pipes would then arrive approximately in the garage.
- That is also not a problem, as you drew it, provided there are no legal objections.

4. The heat is to be distributed via underfloor heating in the rooms, and additionally, a stove with a water jacket is planned in the living room to support the heating. I was thinking that the heat from the stove would be fed to the underfloor heating circuit and the hot water circuit via a mixing valve.
- Sounds good, but that's nonsense. A stove for comfort and ambiance can of course be done, but without the idea of heating support or saving money.

5. A central ventilation system is not planned, but decentralized ventilation in the living area, kitchen, bathroom, and possibly the bedroom.
- Definitely not, decentralized is a makeshift solution for old buildings...

Hi,

regarding impact sound insulation and solid wood or timber frame construction, we have planned this ceiling structure above the ground floor (by the way, the upper floor is rented out).

Best regards

Thank you for the numerous responses. I will try to answer a few questions.

The bathroom upstairs next to the bedroom is the master bathroom, which was a wish of ours (mainly my wife). The children are not supposed to use it later.

The office upstairs is basically not needed and would be only for my laptop and a few files. Theoretically, the children's bathroom could also be created in this room, the small bathroom then gone, and the hallway slightly narrower due to the stairs.

The hobby room is for my wife to sew, for my laptop and my piano, and possibly for other things.

The parents' bedroom is oriented so that it faces the garden where the sun also rises. Furthermore, the area behind the property may not be built on and offers a nice view. That is why this position.

The bathroom downstairs we planned with a shower as a precaution for old age, in case one can no longer climb stairs. And the bedroom downstairs in the office would then be for old age. One idea would also be to set up the bathroom downstairs only as a guest bathroom and create more space in the utility room and then remodel it in old age if necessary.

The house is to be built diffusion-open, is ventilation useful in this case? Is it generally useful, since my uncle also has a ventilation system and the problem in winter is always the very dry air in the house.

In my opinion, a ventilation system is always useful. But only centrally for the entire house. Properly implemented, it always increases living comfort. Well, that is a very expensive luxury wish. Two bathrooms on the first floor take up a lot of space; one would also do a guest WC downstairs. I would resist fiercely and rather choose a hobby room. Having the second bathroom with a shower only downstairs is also annoying. The children will thank you for always having to run down one floor. Also, they then have to walk past several (possibly large) windows in towels or bathrobes. A bit unfair, just so your wife has a short and undisturbed path to her own bathroom. Honestly... I would convert the master bathroom into a normal bathroom.

One should also reconsider where exactly one wants to go from the kitchen/dining room to the terrace. For example, summer evenings at the grill, etc. It seems like all accesses are blocked with furniture.

Dry air is not solely caused by the ventilation system.

How can a house be airtight and at the same time diffusion-open, making a ventilation system unnecessary?
It doesn't work. You have to ventilate mechanically or automatically.

If you want to live downstairs when you’re old, then draw a double bed and wardrobe in the office. Then deal a bit with barrier-free design, space requirements for aids – quickly google “nullbarriere.” Stairs are not the only thing that’s challenging.

I am also in favor of a family bathroom upstairs. 3 bathrooms for 4 people is already something for cleaning maniacs.
Luckily, the potty box is dead.
What bothers me upstairs is the parents’ palace compared to the children’s rooms. Both the area and the location (large room with good view for sleeping). The kids have to sleep, study, play, and meet friends in less space.

I would not plan the hobby room as an enclosed room. You’re taking away incredible flexibility.

Am I the only woman who sews in the dining room? There I have a huge table for cutting, a TV for background noise, space for the iron, I can hear the little one upstairs if something is wrong, and I don’t disturb her.
