Hello,

I would like to control all my roller shutters in the new building either via touch display or Alexa.
The roller shutters have an elero motor,

The window manufacturer suggested Loxone. However, with 17 roller shutters, the cost comes to 4000€.

Can someone recommend cheaper alternatives?

Shelleys. I also plan to do that but have no experience with it yet. Surely there are others here who can say more about it.

For your information, the goal should be that I can control the roller shutters centrally at one location.

As already described, Shelly 2.5 are very suitable as actuators behind the respective roller shutter switches. However, make sure to install deep boxes. For overall control, install a normal switch somewhere in the house behind which the Shelly i3 is located, which then triggers the scenes.

If it should be wired, wait for the new Shelly Pro series for the DIN rail. However, the respective cables of the switches and roller shutters must then be laid in a star layout up to the sub-distribution. The Pro series can then be connected via LAN cable.

If the whole thing should be controlled with a display and touch, I can recommend the iobroker running on a Raspberry. This then controls the Shellys.

It can look like this, for example...

At the bottom in the middle, for example, the respective roller shutters are controlled. Of course, much more information than the roller shutters you want is displayed here.

All information is provided here by the iobroker.

That's exactly how I imagine it.
It doesn't have to be wired.
What costs do I have to calculate here?
What kind of tablet is that?

So if it is going to be the WLAN version, then definitely install deep boxes.

Cost per shelly is just under €20 plus one shelly i3 if it is needed at all (if it is supposed to serve as an alternative to touch). You can also order directly from the manufacturer in Bulgaria for that quantity. That should be a few euros cheaper.

1x raspberry pi 4 and an sd card about €120.

Software iobroker is free. But you do need to have some enthusiasm for technology and also take some time to read up in various forums.

For a tablet, I have a Lenovo, about 0.5 years old, and a self-designed and 3D-printed holder for the tablet. Of course, there should also be a power outlet at that spot.
