Apart from the word "simply", there is nothing wrong with that idea. No water without wastewater, it's similar with gas and air, the least demanding is electricity. Wastewater requires a slope, vertical is best.

Maybe the space in the bathroom is useful if you think about the shared apartment

So... I personally find the mini room for patients awful. It's smaller than our mini bathroom... and it's supposed to create a relaxed conversation setting? The therapist in my circle of friends has a 20 sqm room for that, with a couch plus armchairs and his own armchair. Table, bookshelf, plant. And windows. Very cozy. I have another solution. Leave the mini room for the technology and imagine a reasonably insulated garden house with large windows on the property. You can use it perfectly for patients, heating it beforehand if needed (maybe with a small Swedish stove?). And if there are no patients, it's a great retreat.

"übel" is quite a harsh description. But well, saying more than a hundred times that I know it’s not optimal and that I already have experience with such a small room as a meeting room Yes, if I had more money and the city had more space to build on, I would do it differently. I am still in the consideration/planning phase. So far, I have not sat there with anyone who had to feel confined. So far, so good. The option that I decide not to do it is still there.

Can you imagine mobile partition walls? Then I would take the passage for the conversation room and leave everything else as it is... if there are no patients, you have your chairs and reading corner, if they are there, then you close the walls. Or is that not possible?
