Then consistently apply the insight that that stuff is ugly and don't subject anyone to the view from the outside either :-)

Then go to the building authority with the sketch. They will then say what is allowed and what is not.

To assess this, the actual ground heights at the boundary should be drawn in as well as the target heights.

Therefore, I asked for the site plan from the building application. It is not entirely clear to me why the house has to be 1 m higher.

Could it be that you just want to accommodate the excavation? That is not an argument.

I do not see any area in the sketch that could not be managed with a slope.

The elevation shows a target height of +0.52 m. Did you set the terrace higher?

I suggest having the outdoor area planned by someone who knows what they are doing.

The way you want to do it is totally off.

Thank you for the numerous responses.

The terrace is planned to be level with the house and is at 911.90. That was the specified height from the development plan. The house is in places 1 meter higher than the actual property was and consequently also one meter higher than the adjacent path. The property slopes from 912 to 910 meters.

It is clear that gabions are not the most beautiful. But I only see a chance in them because of other enclosures up to a height of 150 cm.

I only see a massive bottleneck at the corner of the house and the corner of the terrace. One could consider a small use of some support elements there. The rest is easy with shallow slopes.

Yes, the corner of the house is definitely the main problem. We have also already considered these coconut mats. We would still lose some of the property here, but it would be a cost-effective option.

Thank you very much for your feedback. We will try our luck at the building authority tomorrow.
