Because this was brought up again in the other thread...

By the way, we have since changed our minds and now have a large eat-in kitchen (26 sqm) and a separate large living room (32 sqm). With the large kitchen (with a cooking island! ) and being able to eat directly there, we now feel much more comfortable. The living room could have been a bit smaller, but that was no longer possible in the plan, as we had already submitted the building application.

We feel the same way, WildThik, and after living here for two months, we feel totally comfortable and find it perfect just like this!

Once again about the price. Unfortunately, we do not have enough space on one wall to install a complete sliding door. Therefore, we want to install a double one on both sides that slides together. That means several glass elements and 2 tracks. Best regards, Nadin If there is something cheaper like this, I would be very grateful for any tips.

We have now also been living in our new home for a few weeks and I love our open-plan kitchen. One step from the stove to the table and one step from the table to the dishwasher. Finally no more carrying food out and bringing dirty dishes back into the kitchen. You can also reach the coffee machine from the table. The large dining table in the living room (and the floor underneath) always looks clean and tidy, even when I don’t feel like putting everything away right away or if I have to leave quickly. I like it that way and so do my 3 kids.

Oh, that's great that you are already in the house! Congratulations on moving in right away. I just looked at the photos on the homepage too, it looks nice! Although I don't want to put a second dining table in my living room at first, everything should be in the kitchen, which is big enough for that. Only for parties might it be necessary to use the living room.
